Youth earning money resources


Alfonso NPearson, Jr, Vice President, Community Development Manager, Maryland Region SunTrust Bank helping the students learn important skills such as opening a checking and savings account, establishing and maintaining credit, and other areas on becoming dollar sense. 

One of the students spoke about keeping his money in a shoebox.  After the presentation, the student asked how to open a checking account.

What's your EMAGE?

Today we are kicking off the EMAGE (Entrepreneurs Making and Growing Enterprises) Summer Business Academy.  Youth and young adults learning the process of creating a business and learning the process of making clothes (tshirts, jerseys, women clothing).  At the end of the six weeks, the young entrepreneurs will present a working prototype to seasoned entrepreneurs for prizes and mentoring.
